Right now we have three Thrianta babies in the nest.
Their sire is "SS" and their dam is "Girl in Red". You can see them on our Thrianta tab.
The babies seem to all be very healthy and seem to be growing very nicely.
There is something very unique about one of the babies.
He or she only has one ear!
We are not sure what exactly happened, if maybe the doe had some trouble delivering this kit or if maybe she bit off the kit's ear.
The baby seems to be completely healthy other wise and it seems like it is only going to be a cosmetic issue, not a health problem. I believe this baby will make someone a very interesting and unique pet.
The other two babies are looking very well also.
Their parents are beautiful show quality animals so these babies will probably turn out to be good show prospects.
These babies will be ready in early-mid December.
I am willing to take deposits to reserve a baby if you are interested please feel free to email.
The mother of this litter may be for sale also after the babies are weaned. I am looking to downsize our rabbitry and will have several quality animals available within the next couple of months due to my school and work schedule.
This was this doe's first litter and I believe she will produce a larger litter size in her next litter. She is taking very good care of this litter so far.
