"Blue" needs a good home! |
This young male mini lop has had an eventful life so far and is looking to settle down in his forever home! His first home kept him in a fenced area with several other bunnies. Rabbits are often territorial, especially when they have to share food source, so these bunnies often got in to fights. He has some scaring on his ears from these fights. When we got Blue he was underweight but otherwise healthy and very friendly. Blue was adopted out to a nice family to be a pet for an elderly woman. He had a nice pet home for a few months but was returned to us because his new owner's decline in health. Blue will make a great pet. Please email me if you are interested in adopting him. UPDATE - HE HAS FOUND A GOOD HOME |
Adoption/Rescue
We are always willing to take in bunnies that need homes if we are able.
We are also willing to take in other small animals (small hand tame birds, chinchillas, etc.) on a case by case basis, if you have another type of small animal that you need to place in a good home please email me and we can discuss it.
f you have a bunny or other small animal that you'd like us to take in and foster please email a picture and detailed description of the animal (it's age, breed, sex, temperament, health, etc.)
We foster rescue or owner surrendered animals until we find a good, well suitable home for the animal and will often end up keeping some of these animals as our pets.
A problem that we often run into is running out of cage space, so it is always best (but not necessarily required) if you are planning to send your bunny (or other small animal) with a cage and supplies that it needs. This also helps the animal with the transition to a new home.
We also ask that you inform us of any medical problems your rabbit may have, for the safety of our pets - we would not like to expose our animals to any sick animal.
Please contact me if you are interested in adopting a rescue bunny.
Any donations to help with this effort are greatly appreciated.
We are always in need of feed (we prefer Manna Pro name brand, found at Tractor Supply), treats, water bottles, feeders, bowls, cages, timothy hay, rabbit toys, etc.
Adoptable animals do have a rehoming fee to help cover the cost of care.
We provide all the animals with excellent care.
They are fed show quality feed, fresh vegetables and timothy hay.
Also let me know if there is a specific type of rabbit you are looking for, I am always willing to help find you the perfect bunny.
