Adult Rabbits & Supplies Available

12/20/2013

Due to schedule/work involvement now I no longer have as much time to devote to my rabbits as I would like to and that I used to. I am interested in selling several rabbits and cages/supplies. I would very much prefer to sell as a package deal but willing to consider individual sales also.

Several quality pedigreed from show stock purebred breeding rabbits available. Most are not suitable to be pets for young children because they have not been handled regularly enough, would prefer that these rabbits go to an experienced rabbit owner (NOT presents for children, unless they are older and experienced with handling rabbits), would be a great addition to someone's herd. Will consider trades, I am interested in pedigree english lop doe and a pet hedgehog.

Broken chinchilla holland lop buck - pedigreed
Harlequin holland lop buck - pedigreed
Broken tort english lop buck - pedigreed (would like to keep if doe becomes available)
Solid orange holland lop buck - pedigreed, could be pet
Broken tort mini lop doe - proven, great mother, no pedigree, could be pet

See photos on the other pages of the website.

Nice 6 cage set with plastic pull out trays - is a few years old and needs a good cleaning but is still in very good shape - asking $175 for cages only, will negotiate package rate if you'd like rabbits & other supplies as well - you will need a truck or trailer to pick up in SE Greensboro

Also have a few other used smaller wire cages available.

Will consider any reasonable offer! Let me know if you'd like to buy all as a package or a breeding pair of rabbits.

I also have a lot of water bottles and a few nesting boxes, other random rabbit supplies I will give you with purchase if interested.

Thank you!

Christmas Babies Update

Two of the babies have already found great loving homes!

I have decided to keep the last remaining baby - the sable point female.

I do have some adult rabbits available to experienced rabbit homes. These bunnies are not suitable for young children, I would suggest 12 years and up. I have some nice pedigree hollands that would be a great addition to someone's heard.

I have two gorgeous baby holland lop bunnies that I will consider rehoming to the right family.

The solid chinchilla (grey) is a male.

The sable point (markings like a simease cat) pictured in the bottom is a female.

Broken chestnut female is on HOLD for Jamie.

These bunnies are from excellent bloodlines, have beautiful rare coloring and have show potential.

They will also make excellent pets.

They are ready to go this week but I can hold until closer to Christmas with a paid deposit.

Holland lops are 3-4 lbs when full grown and have wonderful personalities.

Both these bunnies are used to being handled already.

Please let me know if you have any questions or are interested in providing an excellent home for either of these babies.

Happy Holidays!

Christmas Bunnies

I was hoping to have a couple of litters of baby bunnies ready around Christmas time - since I have had many people contacting me about quality pets - unfortunately I only have one litter that will be ready (pedigree holland lops).

Frosty x Dakota babies were born Oct. 8th (Great lines out of Narrow Gate)

The bunnies are still very small so I am not sure which ones will be put up for adoption yet, I plan to keep at least one, possibly two out of this litter.

I will post updated photos as they age.

These bunnies are going to be very beautiful and come from excellent lines. The parents of these babies are two of my best rabbits and both have excellent temperaments. Dakota is one of the best rabbits I have ever had and since both of these bunnies may be retiring soon I want to make sure I keep some of his babies.

If you are still interested in adopting one of these bunnies after I decide which one (or two) will be up for adoption I will be happy to keep you on a wait list and keep you updated as they bunnies age, I am not going to be taking deposits at this time. These baby hollands will not be priced less than $100 each. UPDATE - ALL ADOPTED (AS OF 12/7/13)

I do have a young adult mini lop male available for adoption now if you might be interested - his fee is $50. I have attached a photo of him. He is broken tort (white and brown) a VERY pretty boy. UPDATE - ADOPTED

I also have an adult solid blue (dark grey) rescued Mini Lop who is looking for a good home. His rehoming fee is only $15. UPDATE - ADOPTED

I also have a friend who has lionhead bunnies available for adoption now, she is located close to Burlington. Her name is Mary, email is mhbrowning@aol.com and phone number is  336-269-0911. The price range for her bunnies is $20 to $30.

Rescue Bunnies

I have some rescue bunnies that need good homes. They came from a home where they were kept all together in a large pen with several other rabbits where some of the rabbits fought each other and had to compete for food. Some of the bunnies had scabs and ear damage, and some were under weight. It is not safe to house multiple rabbits together in an open enclosure where they do not have equal access to food and water. Rabbits can be very territorial. I suggest that you always keep your rabbits separately unless you have a bonded pair that you are sure won't harm each other.

Please let me know if you are interested in providing a good pet home to one of these nice bunnies. They are all young adults and tame.

UPDATE: Blue mini lop mix male & broken orange dwarf mix male  have both found a new home!

I am keeping an eye on the first bunny pictured (white/tan/brown dwarf mix male) he needs to gain some weight - will be available to good pet home soon.

Solid blue (dark grey) dwarf mix female is available to good home now - she may be bred since she was kept in a pen with male rabbits. She seems to be very healthy. Please let me know if you might be interested in adopting her.

Thank you!
